Living To Please Others

Bear in mind that no matter what you do, you cannot please everybody. Those who will love you will love you and those who will hate you will hate you and it could be for no just cause. It's the reality of the world we live in. Don't try to figure it out but pray for the spirit of discernment to identify those who are for you or against you.

When you live to please other people you're unconsciously giving them control of your life. 

Living beyond your means to create a false impression is an indication you're living your life to please other people.When the bailiffs come knocking at your door, those people you're living to impress will not be there to bail you out. Buying things you don't need with money that you don't have to impress people you don't even know or like is a psychological trap to fill a void and a strong indication of low self esteem and lost identity. When you know ''who'' you are and better still ''whose'' you are, you will be comfortable in your own skin.

Action Points
1. Focus on your God given purpose and live to please the Lord
Ecclesiastes 2: 26 ''God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him''.

2. Be contented and Live within your means

Proverbs 13:11 ''Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow''

3. Owe no one

Romans 13:8 - Owe nothing to anyone except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
